BIG ANNOUNCEMENT...I HATE REALITY!!

Yes, it's hard to believe, but I would much rather be in Cancun (as above) or Cabo, or Hawaii or just about anywhere else having fun than facing the sting of reality and going back to school, back to schedules and homework and eating dinner at a reasonable hour, no more staying up late playing games, going to the city and all of the fun, relaxing things that we do in the summer!
But here goes REALITY- 4 kids at 4 schools means 4 big packets to fill out, 4 different schedules to accommodate. Soccer, Tae Kwon Do, social agendas, homework, lunches, early morning seminary, back to school nights, and that is just the beginning of the list. I am just not ready to let the lazy days of summer go this year. Does anyone else feel overwhelmed at the beginning of school? The good news is that in a few short weeks we will have everyone in the groove of the new school year right?

Looking for something out of the ordinary to do?

Yes, This is the famous John Sutter as in Sutter's Fort, founder of Sac town, originally buried in Mexico and later interred in Sacramento. History buffs would love this place! Check it out!
The Old Sacramento City Cemetery offers all sorts of tours. We opted for the moonlight walk (the full moon sets the atmosphere) several "ghostly visitors" greet you throughout the tour to tell of their story (Hannah even received a marriage proposal from a very wealthy gentleman) . We will certainly return here during daylight hours, there is so much to see-28 acres worth! I think this would even be an appropriate Sunday activity. They have a lot of amazing history. It is pretty much maintained by a crew of 100 volunteers and they do these fun tours to raise funds. Check their web info by clicking here. I DARE you to go!!

Maisy,

The hose is NOT an anaconda, or a boa constrictor (if it were, it would be terrified)!! Your fierce barking, growling and gnashing of teeth is hilarious to watch but you are ruining the hose. So please, enough of your protective snarls, we are in no danger!
Lovingly,

Your Family

WARNING...TIME FLIES!!

I am still wondering how these 2 grew up so fast (everyone told me it would happen but I could not imagine). They are headed to EFY for a week but it seems like such a short time ago they were toddlers. So I am warning my pals with little ones, it seems like they will be little forever, but in reality when you blink, they will be teens---trust me on this!!
