Can I tell you how much I love this?

But to really appreciate this infatuation with my GPS, understand that most of my life has been lived in VERY small towns with NO traffic, NO freeway and NO stop lights, maybe a stop sign here and there. So driving California freeways has been one of my biggest challenges! So last night after work I headed with GPS in hand to the Oakland Temple for a much needed respite from this crazy world and a little bit of peace. It was pouring down rain but my trusty GPS escorted me safely there. By the time I left the temple it was still pouring rain and I was exhausted so I plugged in "hotels" into the GPS and drove a short distance to the Marriott in downtown Walnut Creek. They happened to be having a "Valentines Special" that included free parking (a big deal in the city), your choice of romantic beverage delivered to your room and free breakfast (restaurant or room service) what is not to love about that? (though not terribly romantic alone). I turned off my alarm, wasted a lot of hot water showering and crashed into the very luxurious king bed (hogging every bit of it!) I never would have ventured into the city along, but with the GPS it gives me a total feeling of independence AAAHHHHH!

Sue good for you. I need to spend more time figuring out our lady that talks to you. I bet you had a wonderful time.

I take it the honeymoon has long been gone for one to spend it alone on Valentine's Day huh? Sounds really nice even if you were alone!
