(egg head sculpture in front of UCD library, perfect for this post)As I am one big ball of emotions sending my first born off to college this week, I am thinking Facebook might be a fun option to keep in touch with him while he is gone. I have really fought the Facebook thing just because to me, it is just one more thing I don't need, but with Braden leaving I may need to consider it, since it is the way these kids communicate anymore.

PRO
- Makes it easy to appease your inner stalker
- You can maintain relationships you never thought you could
- Great distraction to housework
- You can friend your kids friends (see con #3)
- Allows you freedom to never get anything done
- More addictive than crack
- People you don't like add you as friends, but you don't have the heart to say no
- It's like a popularity contest, sort of like getting picked last in kickball all over again
