WAAAAAHHH HOOOO!!!

Let the celebration begin!
The class of DHS 2009 has over 700 graduates and are rated # 721 out of 29,000 high schools. Not bad! A very unique and diverse class!

LOOK! Dry eyes! Only a few tears, but mostly excitement thinking of what adventures are ahead and thought of the many great times behind. I think I will save the tears for when he boards the plane for BYU-Hawaii, then it will all be too real!

The Whole Fam Damily-trying to get a picture with everyone not looking cross eyed or goofy is virtually impossible, so here you have it, the real us!

4 children, moving on to 4 new schools. Braden moves to BYU, Hannah enters into High school as a Sophomore. Parker will bring a whole new perspective to The Jr. High that his sister left ( I am not certain the faculty will know what to think of this change!) Chandler has decided to enter into Parker's Elem. and give English a try. If he does not like the transition, he will return to Spanish Immersion.

Braden and his pal Geoff, they are frantically doing last minute packing after playing all night @ Grad Night. There is a plane leaving for Europe Mon. to take them on a whirlwind tour for 5 weeks. Oh, to be young and have no responsibilities...Sigh! I miss those days!

My letter to a friend having a breast reduction

Dear Lilly (name changed to protect the well endowed),

Just a note to show my SUPPORT to you! I hope you will soon feel UPLIFTED and your normal PERKY self. I am certain you will not be a BOOB through all of the pain you must be in. Please don't MINIMIZE how much I think of you, I really appreciate your friendship (I cross my heart)! May you soon have less BOUNCE back in your steps!
Love,
Sue (aka your BOSOM buddy)

So I am off to Ross to find the perfect tiny bra in cheetah print or something outrageous to go along with my letter. What do you think? Of course a yummy dinner will accompany the gift!

Our Whole Earth Day That Wasn't

It all started out as our normal tradition walk to campus and enjoy "Whole Earth Day" aka "Hippie Fest" Just as I was debating in which dreadlock style would go with my tie-dye and tattoo, we get a phone call from one of Parker's friends saying he fell and hit his head HARD and an ambulance was on its way, sure enough, we started hearing emergency vehicles and ran across campus to find our dare devil strapped on a gurney with c-collar and all ready for a ride to the hospital. He and his friends were jumping stairs and leaping over the garbage cans at the bottom and Parker did a face plant on the cement. OUCH! POOR CEMENT!!
Parker pretty much came out unscathed, an impressive goose egg and fracture of his radial head. His biggest upset was that I would not let him go rejoin his "posse" for more fun.

Without a doubt, if we go back to the scene, there will probably be a large dent in the pavement!
Then my sweet senior enjoyed his last HS dance. The group met for pictures at the arboretum (gorgeous spot) The limo picked them up there and they headed to the Sheraton in Sac for the big event.
My boy at his last prom with his favorite mom!

Of course miss social here hung out with her friends and took silly pictures of each other. This picture is the typical teen texter!

"A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery while on detour"

Spring Break Wedding!

Tiff, Roanne and Hannah before the big event
We just returned from a fun week in Las Vegas for Tiffany's wedding (Tiff is the reason I survived toddlers, she was our "nanny", neighbor and "adopted daughter")

This is the Penthouse @ Green Valley Spa in Las Vegas. Tiff's husband Jayson works there and hooked everyone up with a fabulous week. I now know how the rich and famous party, this suite is unbelievable and over the top!

This is the control for the toilet, heated seat, heated washing and blow drying, I really could get used to this lifestyle! It had a shower in one bathroom with 4 shower heads plus a steam room. The bathtub full of the princess's above looks over the city and gorgeous pool area

There was not a dry eye when Tiff danced with Ashley (aka Mo) to "Leaving Cinderella" in typical Mo fashion, he grabbed tissue and stuffed in his ears so he wouldn't have to listen to the words of the song, it did not work, everyone cried at this very tender moment!

The adorable cake made by my sister in law Jill! I put together the centerpieces, they turned out really cute, this picture doesn't show them off. Gumballs are the base, then root beer sticks and darling pink heart suckers, ting ting grass and tulle with pearls and ribbon, they were very fun and very Tiff!

My princess was escorted by Tiff's bro Ryan (the tallest and shortest couple in the wedding party)
We had a great week and we feel so blessed to have Tiff and her family as a big part of our life!
